At Bromont Farm, we pride ourselves in operating a
well managed smaller run family farm. As it is our home too, we are almost always around, and as we have many horses of our own, we
treat all horses at our farm as our own.
Our facilities include:
 | 24 hour family care |
 | 22 stall barn with large box stalls and mat flooring |
 | individual feeding program |
 | daily turnout, individual or group |
 | 100’ x 165’ outdoor sand ring |
 | 60’ x 144’ indoor arena |
 | dressage instruction from novice to advanced |
 | resident FEI rider |
 | safe well trained school horses |
 | trailering services for boarders
|
 | reasonable rates |
Boarders
Here are some of our current boarders at Bromont Farm:
We held our first ever in barn Bromont Farm dressage show in
September and everyone did great and had a blast.
Sophie is a 19 year old chestnut Quarter horse mare also
owned by Sandi. In 2002, Sophie was combined trials champion as well as dressage
basic 2 and 3 reserve champion at the Trillium level. In 2003, Sandi and Sophie both had some physical injuries, but
despite that, managed to show at second level and first level freestyle.
Sandi was reserve champion in the freestyle division. For 2004, Sandi had
a very successful season at second level including enjoying riding the second
level freestyle. In 2005, Sandi competed Sophie in her first National
level show at Palgrave. It was a fun first for both! Sophie is now
retired from showing but is acting as one of our teaching horses.

Keara is Sandi's new 5 year old Irish Draft sport horse
mare. She won her training level class at our show. The first time
for this team. Well done!
Willow is an 9 year old bay Quarter horse mare.
Willow was raced in the Quarter horse races as a two year old in the States.
After retiring from that, she started training as a barrel racer. Fortunately,
the owner realized Willow was far too talented a horse for this, and sold her to
Sue as a dressage horse. Willow is a talented dressage mare with excellent rideability
and Sue is making great strides with her in her dressage training. Keep up
the great work, SQ!! This past summer we held our first ever Bromont Farm
Dressage show and Sue showed Willow for the first time ever for both of them and
they won first place at First level. Congratulations!
Alvin is a chestnut thoroughbred gelding owned by Laura.
At 23
years of age, Alvin is the oldest horse in our barn. He has been a show
jumper, an eventer, and most recently, he has been schooling basic dressage.
Alvin has participated in a few schooling dressage shows, but if you want to go
for a hack, Alvin is the one to go with as he is a good trail buddy.
Windsor is an 19 year old dark bay thoroughbred cross
gelding. Windsor has lived at our barn for the past 10 years, so he has
been with us since we built our indoor arena. He is owned by Julie, who is
an avid dressage rider, and has trained Windsor from basic 1 dressage through to
second level. Julie and Windsor are always in the ribbons and have been
year end champions in the past. Julie showed second level for the 2006
show season and attended the trillium dressage championships.

Some of our other boarders include:
Nick is a yearling Arab/Hanoverian cross owned by Durene.
She is planning on showing him on the line.
Amika is a two year old Freisian/TB cross owned by Jody.
Amika has just been lightly backed in November and doing great!
Shakey is an 11 year old Dutch Warmblood currently
working on first and second level dressage.
Luke is a three year old owned by Gwen. She is
currently getting to know him under saddle after being backed and showing at the
Royal.
Roya is a three year old Dutch cross started doing basic
dressage.
Tazz is a quarter horse owned by Stacey. He is 7
years old and working on basic dressage.
Hoover is a new addition to our barn. Connie, Eve's
part boarder has now purchased her own horse. Hoover is a lovely 11 year
old Rhinelander gelding who is just the cutest, fun horse ever.
Congratulations Connie!! You will have lots of fun with your new boy. |
